Extreme Makeover: Blog Edition

A couple of weeks ago, LittleRockMamas was informed of some major changes that would take place: Primarily, that Arkansas Democrat Gazette would no longer be hosting or supporting the site.

This meant that there would no longer be a link through the newspaper for us. We would no longer be paid to divulge our lives to you. We would no longer have the financial means to support the domain or Freebie Fridays unless we did it ourselves.

This came as a slight shock, but in the end, the reasons, to me at least, were understandable.

As a group, we bloggers opted to keep the domain and continue the LittleRockMamas site. However, in order to do this, we must first take it down and rebuild it, which won’t happen immediately. In the meantime, I’m in this “temporary location” and am slowly migrating my previous posts over to this new site.

We are hoping to make the transition as smoothly as possible. Without the paper’s support, publicity may be a greater challenge, but we will also hopefully be able to expand our topics some without being attached to the largest publication in the state..

But for now, continue on and keep reading.
