I am walking so that others can!!

Myself (at left) and my cousin, Mike, when we were little.

I’ve made my lifetime health issues absolutely no secret within my blogs. But, if you happened to miss some of my posts, here is where you’ll find info on my Epidermolysis Bullosa.

On June 30, 2012, I will be participating in a 5K walk to help raise money for the PUCK fund (Pioneering Unique Cures for Kids). More specifically, it helps raise money for the world-recognized bone marrow transplant treatments that are happening at the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital.

Obviously, this cause means a lot to me. It gives opportunities to kids that many of my peers never had. It could mean life or death for several children.

For every dollar that is donated for the walk, Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation (EBMRF) will match it.. dollar for dollar.

I’m beyond excited to participate and was thrilled to have the opportunity (I just happen to be in town that day!!)

Please feel free to visit my 5K walk link
