Happy Spring Break!

Finally, it has arrived here in Arkansas!  A week to breathe and for many, a week of vacation.  I’m not one of those fortunate vacationers, but I do get some breathing time.

Since George works second shift and I work third, we have opted to send Kathryn up to Nannie and Papa’s for the week. She’ll be able to play with her big cousins (they took her fishing last night!), see mommy’s cousin Barb and her husband Jack, work on her Derby car for the upcoming scout event and even get in a little computer time.

Without her and George around, I’ll have plenty of time alone before I pick her up on Friday afternoon to get in some reading, R-rated movie watching and sewing. I’m also taking some time to making preparations for the “big trip” George and I are taking at the end of June.

Kathryn is obviously spending some time playing games on FaceBook as I caught her online earlier. As for me, I’m off now to figure out how to batch edit 575 portraits from my Senior yearbook. I leave you with a warm fuzzy:
