The evil has arrived

Each year, hundreds of people make resolutions to lose weight and eat healthy. What you may not know is that within two weeks , a group of people have their minds set on breaking these resolutions nationwide.

That day has arrived in Arkansas.

Starting today, my daughter, as well as hundreds of other girls dressed just like her will roam the streets begging unsuspecting dieters to give up their self-promise. These evil-doers promise chocolate, coconut, caramel and vanilla.. in some instances, together.  This year, they’re even offering lemon-flavoring to make you think that just maybe, you’re getting your daily allowance of fruit.

My own child hopes to convert these newly-resloved health fanatics and weight losers to the tune of 350 boxes.

Girl Scout cookie season has arrived. As a leader, I think I’ve geared myself up for this annual fiasco as much as I can. For what I’m not prepared for, I’ll just duck and cover.

Good luck to all my fellow leaders, moms and scouts! If you do not fit into this category, I’m sure I can find a way to hook you up with a few boxes of resolution-breakers.
